The Balfron High School Trust Fund has been set up under the auspices of several members of the Council and local respected members of the public and will be managed by an independent body of parents, staff, and advisors.
The Fund is currently being finalised and sponsors are being sought for initial funding. We hope the fund will be established soon so that the interest raised can be allocated to the extra activities that the school wants to offer but cannot fund itself.
The benefits of the Trust Fund will be for all children who attend Balfron High School, both now and in the future. The Trust will work closely with the Parent Council to identify those areas that are deemed beneficial for the school in terms of extra spending.
As a charitable organisation the Trust Fund is tax efficient, meaning it can claim Gift Aid money for every pound donated.
Donations can be made to the Trust Fund by parents/careers as either on a one off basis or as a regular contribution. All donations would be treated in strictest confidence by the Treasurer.
